On May 8, 2025, from 4:20 PM to 7:00 PM, the ATCS freshmen from the Class of 2028 came together in the 1st-floor cafeteria for CS Night 2025, an evening designed for fun and connection. Unlike traditional welcome events, this night was about relaxing, enjoying familiar company, and creating lasting memories after a year of growing together.
The cafeteria was transformed into a festive space filled with vibrant decorations and cozy seating. As students arrived, they were welcomed by familiar faces: classmates, teachers, and upperclassmen volunteers, creating a warm and exciting atmosphere. The air buzzed with anticipation.
And of course, what’s a great night without great food? CS Night didn’t disappoint. A delicious spread of snacks and sweets catered to all tastes, and students frequently gathered around the food stations to grab a bite and chat with friends between activities.
Music played a major role in setting the tone for the night. A curated playlist of upbeat, popular songs filled the space, inspiring clapping, singing along, and even dancing, eventually. The first real dance moment came with a twist: students didn’t hit the dance floor until musical chairs demanded it.
The games were a hit. Musical chairs brought a wave of laughter and light-hearted competition. Every round was full of cheers and playful groans as students scrambled for seats, reviving the childlike thrill of a classic favorite.
Gartic Phone, a drawing and guessing game, had students alternating between sketching bizarre prompts and trying to interpret their classmates’ artwork, often with hilarious results. The creativity and chaos made it a crowd favorite.
One of the night’s most entertaining highlights was slideshow karaoke. Students took to the stage to deliver formal-style presentations… with a twist. Their challenge? Present random, silly slides while keeping a straight face. The result? Endless laughter and lots of confidence-building fun.
More than just food and games, CS Night was about community. It celebrated the friendships that had formed throughout the year and gave everyone a chance to bond beyond the classroom. Teachers and volunteers were instrumental in creating an inclusive space where everyone felt welcome and free to enjoy themselves.
CS Night has become a treasured tradition at ATCS, and the 2025 edition lived up to its reputation. As students shared snacks, sang songs, and competed in games, they also shared joy, support, and memories that will last beyond high school.
In short, CS Night 2025 was more than an event; it was a celebration of the spirit and strength of the ATCS Class of 2028.
