With the Nor’easter snowstorm approaching, BCA students have begun to pray for a snow day.  Blizzard warnings have been issued-with rumors of 20+ inches of snow.  Starting at about midnight on Monday, the snow will accumulate at about 2 inches per hour.  Wind of 10 to 20 mph will gust up to 35 mph during the height of the storm. The strong winds could snap tree limbs and knock down power lines, leading to power outages.  Look at the map bellow for more information on locations of the snowfall.

Snowfall Forecast for 3/14/2017

Not to mention, the official snow day calculator (which allows you to enter your zip code and will predict the chances of your area getting a snow day based on current and future weather patterns) is currently predicting a 99% chance of a snow day for Bergen Academies. As you pray for a snow day, make sure to prepare for the treacherous and crippling weather.  Remember to stay off the roads and to enjoy the last taste of the 2017 winter.

Update: Bergen County Technical Schools have been officially closed for Tuesday, March 14.
